My name is Peter Hines. I don’t know what else to say. Concerning this site, it’s a mixture of rediscovered old stuff and some things I’m writing now.
There’s a lot more here. (Not poems. Other sorts of what can best be regarded as writings. In some respects it’s an actual blog.)
AND here at Blood Simple Design, which is basically my main project, in the sense that I have one.
Now that I’ve moved into my dream home on the old aboriginal burial ground and started functioning comfortably again, I’m kind of writing and rewriting all the time and posting here and there and there, in no particular order, without a carefully thought out plan. Just as it comes.
Which is a good thing, right? I mean, it better be. Or else I’m screwed.
hi Peter
I’m moving out of the place at Newtown which was HQ for Zaresky Press, which I shut down 2 yrs ago, and I came upon the proof copy of “Above Fire Below Mountain”. I found it fascinating and read it a few times. Then I looked for you on the web and found your website. Your writing gets better adn better. And design-wise the site is an absolute exemplar. I’d like to send you a pdf of that unpublished book. I also came upon a fantastic photo of you in Taylor Square which I would like you to have. Please give me your email and postal addresses. I’m going to Israel for 6 mths from mid Feb as my girlfriend is there.
Hope you’re well. All the best
Joe
